YINGFAN（high density polyethylene liner) To Support 2019-nCov Hospitals Projects in Wuhan City

The government of China is rapidly building a 1,000-bed hospital in Wuhan as part of its efforts to contain and treat patients suspected of contracting coronavirus appeared in Wuhan, the epicenter of this break, and quickly spreaded to whole China since the beginning of Dec, 2020. Named Wuhan Huoshenshan Hospital, the 25,000-square-metre facility is being built in the Caidian District in the west of the city of Wuhan to treat coronavirus patients. The quarantine hospital is being built using prefabricated elements and is expected to open on 3 February, 10 days after construction began. Our country’s government is also building a second larger facility in Wuhan, which will be called the Leishenshan Hospital with more than 1300-bed, reported China Daily. This hospital is expected to open in 15 days. The designs are reportedly based on the Xiaotangshan Hospital that was built within a week in Beijing during the SARS outbreak in 2003.
The city of Wuhan, which is the capital city of Hubei province, is at the epicenter of the coronavirus outbreak. At the time of writing the virus had infected almost 4500 people in China and killed more than 80 people.
On Jan 27, 2020, Chinese Primer Minister Li Keqiang, also the Team Head of Central 2019-nCov Control Working Team, commissioned by Chinese President Xi Jinping, visited and inspected Huoshenshan hospital foundation separation and seepage control lining engineering with other government officials. This geosynthetic lining materials are a must to separate and contain medical wastes to protect groundwater, earth and surrounding environment. Especially, this 2mm thickness High density polyethylene liner material is the key liner of separation and leakage control engineering. Meanwhile, 600gsm nonwoven needle punched geotextile is a cushion to provide protection for this liner and to reinforce the whole foundation structure.
It is currently in the Chinese New Year holiday, and Wuhan city implements the policy of “sealing the city” to effectively control the epidemic. Material transportation and manpower mobilization face great challenges. To rapidly send our high density polyethylene liner to hospital onsite, our company general director, Mr He Yong, lead our team to immediately apply release of transportation because Shanghai has lockdown the interprovincial transportation, and to effectively arrange loading on Jan 26.
