The main mechanism of geomembrane application in engineering is to block the earth dam leakage passage of the plastic film, and to withstand the water pressure and adapt to the deformation of the dam with its large tensile strength and elongation. 1.Base Surface Treatment
Thoroughly clean the base surface according to the design requirements, which is the key to make the geomembrane play a good anti-seepage effect, especially to clean the roots and sharp stones, and the base surface can not be undulating, and after the cleaning, the tamping is completed to ensure the flatness and compaction. 
2. Laying Geomembrane
In the process of filming, it should be carried out in order from bottom to top. Adjacent geomembrane and geomembrane and base surface must be flattened and tightly attached, but care should be taken not to pull too tightly, so that no air bubbles are suitable.
3.Adjust Geotechnical Materials
Because the smooth lldpe geomembrane is thin and light, it is easy to be blown by the wind, so the filming should not be too long, and it should be covered with soil when filming. For the treatment of joints during construction, it can be lapped or hot-bonded or glued.
4. Protective Layer
The clay used to protect the geomembrane must be sieved to remove large particles with a particle size of 6 mm or more to avoid puncturing the geomembrane. After the soil material is laid, it needs to be compacted to ensure that the dry weight is higher than 1.5, and the sample is sent to the laboratory for inspection. During the backfilling of the protective layer and the masonry of the lake, it is necessary to do it lightly, otherwise the film will be easily broken. A cushion with a thickness of 100 mm is required under the cover to prevent the protective layer from being washed due to changes in the water level. For the construction of dry block stone by means of manual hanging line, the stones should be tightly packed together, and the gap part should be filled with small stones or stone chips.
5. Border Processing
The purpose of the boundary treatment is to ensure a good connection between the soil and the smooth lldpe geomembrane, to block the inlet of the seepage and to cut off all lateral leakage paths, to avoid water from entering the bottom of the membrane due to water seepage, and to form blisters at the bottom, resulting in geomembrane rupture.
